I started writing poetry in elementary school. I enjoyed it as a way to express myself and it seemed to come fairly easy. Even winning some recognition for it.As I was growing up and life got harder, I stopped writing. I sure wish I hadn't because I think I could've really used that outlet. I wrote periodically, a poem or two over the years, but that was about it.
It was not until after I lost five children to miscarriage, that God made me a promise by means of a rainbow. Later when that promise was revisited through another rainbow of equal beauty, He blessed & inspired me with the poem
"Bright Promise Of Hope" This started an avalanche of creative expression and inspiration in me. It has totally blessed my life. Gifts I give to God, myself, my family & friends . . . And, now I share this labor of love with you.
I pray reading these pages will bring you joy, touch your heart, let you know you're not alone, bring some smiles and maybe a few tears. From my heart to yours, I hope you will also be blessed.
